Natalie Portman and husband Benjamin Millepied have added baby No. 2 to their brood!

Natalie Portman and choreographer husband Benjamin Millepied have a new addition to the family!
Portman gave birth to a baby girl on February 22, 2017, which explains her absence at the Academy Awards on February 26. According to her rep, “Mother and baby are happy and healthy.”

Portman and Millepied, who met on the set of Black Swan in 2010, chose to name their new little bundle of joy Amalia, which means “work” in Germanic. This is the second child they have together—their firstborn being son Aleph, 5. Looks like they are going to stick to baby names beginning with A!

Back in November, many people believed Portman was “about to pop,” due to the size of her growing belly. However while on the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, she claimed she still had many “months to go” until the due date. Time really does fly!
